Our objective is to grow Airspace World significantly in the coming years and improve on the overall success we have all enjoyed at World ATM Congress, which CANSO delivered for the past 16 years. With that in mind, we aim to achieve the same, if not higher attendance at Airspace World in 2023 than at 2022's event in Madrid.
CANSO is the sole truly global voice of Air Traffic Management and its ANSP members support 90 per cent of the world’s airspace, while its associate members are at the forefront of developing the technology that will drive the integration of manned and unmanned flight.
CANSO’s significance as the global voice of Air Traffic Management is illustrated by its official observer status at ICAO and its participation in ICAO’s panels and other activities, and by its membership of NATO’s Aviation Committee.
CANSO was the instigator and creator of the Complete Air Traffic System’s Global Council - an independent innovation forum for leaders across the entire aviation industry to create and align on a unifying blueprint for our future skies.
The CATS Global Council is an independent innovation forum, initiated by CANSO, to facilitate greater collaboration among leaders across the aviation and aerospace industries: ANSPs, UTM service providers, aircraft manufacturers, drone operators and manufacturers, high-tech companies, airlines, airports, regulatory authorities, space agencies and research bodies.
In 2021, the CATS Global Council published its vision for the skies of 2045 vision for the skies of 2045. In 2022, the Council set out its pathway to get there with a roadmap of long-term goals, actions and milestones to deliver its vision, Airspace World will play a key part in delivering that vision.
Airspace World will bring together all the key players from aviation under one roof to collaborate on our vision for future skies.
